Knowing how to design irrigation systems is one thing, but installing them is another. We know both. We’ve seen many intriguing ways contractors sometimes put things together. Some good, other times not so good. Accuracy in design can prevent almost all occurrences of these sometimes-necessary instances, but when it can’t, knowing what is and is not acceptable is a must. Understanding both design and installation makes for sharp skills when observing an installation crew at work. Are they using the right glues, wire and piping? Is the pipe angle of deflection going to impede easy repairs in the future? Why is there bent pipe in the first place? Are the control wires properly bundled and placed? There are a million questions you can ask. Knowing how to identify installation issues that can compromise the system is key. Knowing where to find them is essential. Nine times out of ten, your contractor will strive to do a superb job with fewer punch- list items than any previous job. We are there to help your contractor reach his goal.
